چکیده
In this study, control (0), 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1000 mg L-1 ginger essential oil (GEO) (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) was added to rumen liquid (RL). Then, the effects of GEO RL vitro gas production, organic matter digestibility (OMD), metabolisable energy (ME), fermentation parameters methane (CH4) production were examined on these samples. It determined that addition decreased in Trifolium pratense hay (TPH), OMD ME contents, total volatile fatty acids (TVFA), acetic acid (AA), propionic (PA), butyric (BA) other (OVFA) (P<0.05). Moreover, it while productions carbon dioxide (CO2), CH4 ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) decreased, ratios pH AA/PA increased (P<0.05) depending increase dose GEO. conclusion, which had highest negative effect fermentation, nutrient digestibility, CO2 L-1. concluded since high doses affect digestion feeds negatively, would be appropriate use 200
